Handcrafted Palm Leaf Gift Boxes

Our Hopper Discovery set comes in a handcrafted palm leaf box. These boxes are made by a group of women in Dambadeniya, in the North Western Province of Sri Lanka. The special typle of 'Ola' palm leaves are prepared by boiling to add the desired colour, sun dried and used to weave various designed boxes and artefacts.
